MEMBERS' NOTES (first is most recent) ADD NOTE     SORT BY: NAME / DATE
After switching to generic Wellbutrin, I had classic withdraw symptoms.  I and everyone I point this out to notices that the Generic variety has a very different smell -- which would indicate a different formulation.  I can only guess that the different formulation is reducing its effectiveness.  Switching back to the non-generic removed my symptoms almost immediately.     (Tue Oct 4 23:13 2005)

Ok... I have been taking Wellbutrin for 30 days as of yesterday (150mg Wellbutrin XL).  I began taking it due to Depression... and a small amount of anxiety, but mainly depression (Not sure what I am NOW... but was once diagnosed as Dysthymic...but have been thinking lately that I may have a bit of a Borderline Personality Disorder or Dependent Personality Disorder... heh... self diagnosis.)  ANYWAY... I noticed within the past week or so, that I was acting NEUROTIC!  I didn't even notice for about a week... but I was acting Obsessively about people and situations... it kinda scared me!  It culminated yesteday with really bad panic attacks.  Called the Doc... she gave me a prescription for Zoloft... SO... I took a half of a 50mg Zoloft this morning... I have had a few fits of Yawning, but it also feels like i'm on SPEED!... crazy... anyone else have problems like this, or have experience on Wellbutrin and Zoloft Simultaneously???   (Wed Oct 5 15:58 2005)

Started Wellbutrin XL about 5 weeks ago at 150 mg.  First week was great, but the effects seemed to completely disappear during the second week. The good effects returned when I up'ed it to 300 mg after two weeks (doctor recommended), but now I'm in my 5th week and the good effects are gone. I can still feel some of the energy increase, but the depression and frustration are as bad as they were before.  I called my doctor and he said not to increase the dose until we meet next week. Has anyone else experienced this "wearing off" effect?  Do the good effects ever come back?   (Thu Oct 13 19:31 2005)

hey i'm taking this to 300mg a day. along with prozac. i ohnestly dont think i could survive with out this substance. I have a very low threshhold to other peoples pain including my own. the business im in just about requires you not to be an emotional freak...i could not do what i do and help the people i help with a whirlwind of feelings and emotions. like i said b4, this world is binary --- true false...yes no...on off.....   (Sun Oct 16 21:55 2005)

Wellbutrin = Devil by Jennifer
I work in a psychiatrist office and i hear lots of complaints about a lot of meds, but i never heard much about wellbutrin.  Ive been wanting to quit smoking, so i thought id give it a shot - bad idea.  I took it for a week, everything was fine.  One week later I was sitting at home, in bed and i felt like i wanted to die, literally.  Racing thoughts, and my head felt tingly all over.  I FINALLY calmed down....ended up in urgent care the next day...they prescribed me xanex.  I have never had a panic attack/anxiety attack IN MY LIFE until now.  It's been 6 days since ive stopped taking it completly, and i have a migraine a day, and a panic attack every other day, I am now on ativan which helps with the panic attacks.  It's starting to effect my working, and my life...I have never been depressed or anything, and now this....is there any hope?   (Mon Oct 17 23:27 2005)

I was on paxil, got fat and lost any interest in sex but
stopped panicing.  I was then put on lexapro but began to
yawn compulsivley and feel sleepy ansd still not want to
have sex.  Then they added wellbutrin and I think it was
better.  Not a significant enough change for me to notice.
I went a year on both, then just lexapro.  Last week I got
sick of the yawning, the chronic shortness of breath
(anyone else?) and I went only on wellbutrin 150.  Then up
to 300.  I am curious about the difference in which
receptors the 150/300 effect- I heard 150 only works on
seratonin,  Also, I think medication is different for
everyone!   (Thu Oct 20 17:00 2005)

I started having major anxiety about five months ago.  Burning, prickly feeling in my chin, face, & chest.  Tons of tests reveal nothing but anxiety.  Was trying to beat it with quitting caffiene, herbal remedies, self help books etc. but then started having suicidal notions and other random weird thoughts.  I was afraid to take them, and afriad not to.  Started with 75mg xl and xanax then bumped up to 150mg.  I feel quite a bit better but still get sort of disturbing thoughts when I am overly tired.  Mostly I feel better but still get that horrible, tight, anxiety feeling in my chest sometimes.  No insurance, XL is spendy and I am so scared to take any steps backward by switching to generic sr.  I'm still not sure why this med was recommended for someone with severe anxiety.   (Mon Oct 24 15:37 2005)

If anyone is interested in how Name Brand Wellbutrin may vary from Generic (Buproprion)...I will be a guinea pig starting tomorrow.  I have done 1 month on generic (150sr 2 x day), and am now going to try 1 month on Name Brand Wellbutrin XL 300mg.
I will report back and give you my impressions!   (Tue Oct 25 19:32 2005)

In July my husband and I wanted to try to have a baby, so I
went on hormones and I ended up a mess from the
hormones.  My GP doctor has put me on birth control pills
to try and get my hormones back on track.  Since all of the
bad side effects of the hormones, I started having severe
panic attacks and anxiety.  It is getting to the point I don't
want to leave my home.  I hear two different stories about
what this drug will do for me.  Has this helped anyone else
with severe panic attacks?     (Wed Oct 26 20:06 2005)

I have been taking effexor for a little over one year.  It helped me get our of bed easier and a small boost of energy.  I have a hard time breaking sleep in the morning and falling asleep at night.  It was suggested I try wellbutrin that it could give me a better energy boast and hopefully help with this weight gain.  I think I am experiencing naseau and headaches from which I do not know.  Effexor made me sweat and I had head zaps when I missed a dose.  Does anyone have a suggestion on dealing with the switch and if it is a good one?   (Fri Nov 4 15:46 2005)

I tried Wellbutrin XL 150 for one week. I have been told this drug can also be used for ADHD??  Outside of the overwhelming anxiety, I could not think clearly at all or focus my thoughts.  As a matter of fact, I sat kind of in a frozen state with my mind racing, everywhere.  And when should it be taken?  I told my doctor it made me extremely tired when taken in the morning.  He said take it at bedtime.  I did, then I was up almost all night.  Will these side-effects go away if I attempt to take it more than a week?  Is there a doc in the house?   (Sun Nov 6 17:39 2005)

I haven't slept in a week ever since I began
taking the pills. I vibrate. I can't sit
still. Is this the Welbutrin? I was on it 9
years ago and it worked. Now after a year
relapse, I'm trying to find the right meds.
I'm also on lithium and depakote. Anybody
have any insight?
   (Thu Nov 10 11:35 2005)

hi I've been on wellbutrin sr 300mg a day for just over a year.  In the past few months I have been expierencing memory loss for minor things like remembering a new phone number or if I had just asked a question, or did I just think I asked...the point is I was wondering if taking wellbutrin long term can affect your memory permantly? anyone know??   (Sun Nov 13 9:48 2005)

I have taken 300mg daily of Wellbutrin for almost 2 years.  I have found that the only memory losses that I have are short term.  Someone can tell me something and I can't remember it for the life of me.  It doesn't happen all the time, but enough for me to notice.  I've just made it a habit to always have paper and pen and write down anything that I think I need to remember.

All the long term stuff is safe - at least what I can remember (that's a bad joke).

Hope yours gets better...

Lisa   (Mon Nov 14 18:47 2005)

mine didn't start until i added topamax + lamictal to wellbutrin + prozac.  i'll take the hit, though, since lamictal evens me out and wellbutrin made me, in the words of a friend, "nice."  as in, not so much of a wench.   (Mon Nov 14 22:38 2005)

I have been on this for 2 weeks now..and I have been SO CRANKY! very emotional and I'm not one to complain about any product~I do have high anxiety and yes wellbutrin is making it worse..maybe i will give it alittle longer just to see if side affects will go away~ I have been running 3 miles each day..just to get these crazy thoughts out of my head..   (Tue Nov 15 10:40 2005)

Wellbutrin XL by Helen
I've read all of your messages with interest, because I just started on Wellbutin XL to quit smoking, and I feel weird. I ate a sandwich for lunch and at 5:25 p.m., I'm still full. I'm not fat, so I enjoy my meals, and now I don't want any supper. I'm still smoking, because it helps address the dizziness somehow. Side benefit is, however, that it did help keep me from blowing my top today from a situation that would have caused me to go ballastic. Maybe I need it for more reasons than smoking. So, I guess I'll give is a few more days and see what happens. Can anyone tell me how this affects athletic activities. I play tennis and run and haven't done either since starting on this med. Thanks.   (Wed Nov 16 17:29 2005)

Wellbutrin by Kim
I've been taking Well/xl for a month and a half;  I keep having sever panic attacks.  I'm afraid to go to sleep because I'm afraid I won't wake up.  Instead of smoking a pack a day, I'm smoking maybe one a day if I think about it.  I just don't feel right.  Going to the doc next month.....I think I was doing better without the drug except for the smoking part...............   (Thu Nov 17 0:52 2005)

Wellbutrin for ADD by Christina
Hi...just wanted to say, I don't have anxiety or depression, but I'm 36 and have had ADD since age 6. I started Welbutrin about 2 years ago because my ADD was overwhelming for me. I quit after awhile and my "coping" mechanisms were gone. I went back on 150mg and it helped some but not enough. I just started taking 300mg..I have headaches, dry mouth..some nausea and I don't want to eat(which is fine with me). It's really good for ADD, but for anxiety etc...I don't have any panic attacks or other symptoms as described by anxiety patients. I'm just hoping my "side effects" will subside but, I like the way I feel overall.   (Thu Nov 17 19:11 2005)

Wellburtin XL 150MG / 300MG by Michelle DeMond
~Hello~

I have read everything GOOD and BAD about Wellburtin XL, and from what I gather meds react on everyone diffrently. Alot of the side affects of Wellburtin stem from drinking while taking Wellburtin and or being on other meds that don't work well with Wellburtin. It says that you shouldn't drink while on this med. I think  if you want to give any med a good try,,, don't drink while taking it. Anyways drinking is a cause of depression,, so why mix it with a med to help you get over depression ? I hope anybody that is on Wellburtin will give it a chance as I have,,, with out doing drugs or drinking,,, that only makes things worse. Life is too short so make the best of it. Good luck to everybody :)   (Fri Nov 18 20:33 2005)

Karen,

That is one of the good things about WELLBURTIN,,, is the weight loss side effect it has. This is one of the reasons I'm on it. As for you,, as long as you eat healthy you should have no problem. Just keep in touch with your Doctor if you get too concerned about the weight loss. I lost 5 lbs last week alone. I was on 150mg WELLBURTIN for a week and up to 300mg for 3 days and have lost half of what you lost in a few months, so I think your doing good. I wish you the best of luck.

Nita Michelle DeMond   (Mon Nov 21 11:19 2005)

I've been taking this now for a few months and have lost 10 pounds, is this usual?  I'm not heavy, was 159 pounds, now 149.  I also take klonopin .5 tid.  I don't have the anxiety side effect, so maybe ask for klonopin.   (Mon Nov 21 10:37 2005)

I have been on wellbutrin XL 150 per day for 2 months.  It was prescribed for menopausal mood issues.  I had tried others ...Lexapro and Zoloft.  They both made me gain weight in what felt like a matter of days.  I thought wellbutrin would be different, especially since it can be used for weight loss. But, I have to say I have actually picked up at least 7 pounds.  It's a real problem for me.  I am preoccupied with the weight gain. My moodiness has really improved, as has my attention span. I was thinking of asking about going up to 300, but the anxiety people suffer makes me hesitant.  One other thing is that I have been exercising more since I started the Wellbutrin.  All around, I am better ...just the one thing ...I am fatter and I cannot stand it.  Anyone else gain on it?   (Tue Nov 22 11:52 2005)

memory loss by bonnie
I am sure Welbutrin has caused me to have memory loss-
and I think it's gotten worse.  I've been on it for at least 3
years, at the beginning I felt great and disregarded the
memory loss as something I could live with. Just this year I
started taking anti-anxiety medicine (busprion- similar
name to the generic welbutrin) and now that I read about
welbutrin causing anxiety I'm worried. Also, I did switch to
generic (I think 2 years ago) and you know I never
questioned it at the time but now I think it really did stop
having that same positive effect I originally liked.  I just
thought I got more used to it and was just dealing with
regular life feelings that were still coming up despite the
medicine. Yikes! thanks for all this great information. I'm
going to see what I can do to get off it, even though I
refuse to take something that affects my sex drive or
makes me gain weight. There aren't too many options out
there though huh. I'll talk to my psychiatrist- even though
he prescribed me the anti-anxiety medicine without
saying that the welbutrin could be causing it, and he also
dismissed my concerns over memory loss. they haven't
been validated till right now.   (Thu Nov 24 1:17 2005)

I have been taking WellbutrinXL 150 for about 2 years, & also Paxil which I've weaned down to 5mg per day. I'm adult ADD and was suffering from anxiety, depression and obsessive suicidal thoughts. When I started Wellbutrin, aside from the fact that it gave me hallucinations, I got an all-over body rash. Both subsided in a day or two, but the rash comes back in patches from time to time. I have gained weight on it, not lost, and my appetite is not the leaset bit suppressed. It did correct the negative sexual side effects of the Paxil.
I tried to stop taking WXL a few weeks back but within a couple of days I was totally depressed. So my question is, does that part last, or do you eventually just get "normal" after quitting? How long are you supposed to stay on this? Is it forever? I have no psychiatrist or therapist. I got all these meds from my GP. I'm so confused!   (Fri Nov 25 23:56 2005)

I had been on Celexa and lithium.  I suffered severe itching.  I was taken off Celexa. My doctor added 150 mg of Wellbutrin to 300 mg Lithium.  I have been had anger episodes  very regularly.

Wellbutrin&Zoloft by SPKalanu
I've had to take Zoloft for about 7 years now, and I've always been happy with it. Recently, though, after a car crash, I got so shaken up that the Zoloft just didn't seem to cut it anymore. My doctor then added Wellbutrin for anxiety, which in retrospect makes very little sense. I take the generic slow release form, been on it for about two weeks, and, seriously, headaches, sweaty palms, tremors and anxiety attacks is all I'm getting from the Wellbutrin. I'll have to stop taking it, because otherwise I think I'll have to be admitted straight to the next hospital. But I'm glad it's working for some of y'all out there.   (Fri Dec 2 23:09 2005)

just started the generic 150mg in lieu of wellbutrin sr 150.  Any difference people know of.  Have been on it 4 days and feel a bit groggy, even keeled and have forgotten to eat more times then not...normal?   (Tue Dec 6 21:03 2005)

i  take wellbutrin xl combined with cymbalta  90 mg .it seems to work well, but i  do have major insomnia,so i was told to take the wellbutrin as early as possible in the morning,so tomorrow will be my  first day on this schedule....wish me luck dec.8 4:00 p.m.                                                         (Thu Dec 8 15:56 2005)

I have been taking wellbutrin with success for 2 years-until just a couple of months ago.  I moved and when I went to my new doctor he renewed my Rx.  Not long after that I began to slip into depression again. Not as bad as I had 2 years prior, but enough to notice.  Now its gotten to where I don't even want to really leave my house, I'm yelling at my kids and crying for no reason.  I have ZERO interest in sex (had plenty of interest when I was on the name brand). I had noticed my pills were different and told my husband (who had noticed my increased depression)that I thought maybe the pharmacist had given me the wrong pills. I finally found a picture of my new pills online, and they are generic. Whoever thinks that generic is just as good as the brand name is mistaken. I have had suicidal thoughts while on this new "brand".  I have an old Rx of Wellbutrin (a different, lower dosage than what I'm taking now)and they are about to expire, but I am now taking them until I can yell at my new doctor (and fire him) on Monday.   (Sun Dec 11 0:13 2005)

Diagnosis, general anxiety and post tramatic stress (was stalked by two differnt guys, and divorced from a mean guy, then was atincipating a huge surgery-successful though).  i was pissed all the time and agitated, in a constant state of readiness, flinching at noises, crying when things got overwhelming. couldn't sleep for sh*t. i'm female, 37, 122 lbs. no kids, good job. i'ts been a year now on wellbutrin xl 300 mg. & klonipin 1mg 2x's a day, and a lunesta or ambien at night.  lost alot of weight (and hair) after the first few months because of the wxl, but that has totally subsided.  i've gained back most of my weight and the hair i lost is sprouting all over my head again, thank god.  my crankiness is in check, i'm not emotional anymore.  i think i've  only cried twice in the past year as opposed to twice a week before.  sex is great, orgasms maximum. prior to wellbutrin, zoloft made me fatter and i could not acheive orgasm, it also affected my eyesight and still didn't sleep any better.  i will always need a sleep aid.  alcohol definitely messes with wellbutrin. i tend to get drunk faster, and if i don't watch it, i'll say or do nasty things when drunk, nothing crazy, just annoying or spontaneous stuff like swearing or getting angry easily.  so watch the drinks!! i'm going to a new dr. tomorrow cuz mine moved, i'm not changing anything, if they try to, i'll go to someone else. i'll check back in 6 months or so and let you know what's going on.   (Mon Dec 12 16:03 2005)

i have been taking it for a few months and at first the anxiety was bad, but the increase in energy was amazing.  now the anxiety has turned into a stressed/on the edge feeling.  i still cry very easily, although not as bad as the withdrawls from Lexapro - total nightmare.  was thinking about adding lamictal per psyciatrist's recommendation, but scared. getting married in 6 months and need to LOSE some weight - at least the 10 lbs i've gained since starting wellbutrin.  anyone have any insight?   (Mon Dec 12 23:38 2005)

my doctor just started me on Wellbutrin and i start
tomorrow.  i am a smoker and im also taking this
med to help me stop smoking, has that worked for
anyone out there?  im 25 and a single mom, i have
very bad anxiety attact and i find that i spend 6
hours a day at leat cring for no reason, wellbutinis
like the 15 (no joke) different type of drug i have
tried and i hope for it to be my last....... i guess what
i really want to know is do any of you find that
wellbutrin has  really helped you get on with ur lives?   (Tue Dec 13 23:41 2005)

wellbutrin by sharon
I started taking wellbutrin about 2 months ago. They started me out on 150mg for a week and then gave me 300mg. They seemed to work fine: i had energy, supressed my appetite, and i felt like it was doing what it was supposed to do. As soon as i switched to 300mg my appetite came back, i was tired all the time again, i couldn't remember simple things, and ive just began getting bad headaches. I dont know if that is because of the Wellbutrin or not but figuring it is considering i never got headaches before. Maybe if i switch back to 150mg it will work again. We shall see.    (Wed Dec 14 15:55 2005)

I started Paxil a couple months ago. I have experienced problems with decrease sex drive & not being able to climax. I am considering Wellbutrin b/c I have read that it has the least side effects with the sexual function. I wanted feedback from Wellbutrin users & their sexual functions please.    (Thu Dec 15 14:40 2005)

Hi..just wanted to add my two cents..Fish oil
has really helped me to cope. 1000mg with each meal and it seems to take away the anxiety, sleep better, aches are much better..
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all!   (Fri Dec 23 13:33 2005)

I am currently taking Paxil for my Anexity Attacks. It is not working like I would want it to. There are times that I feel like I am having a heat attack. I have no energy, no ambition and this is not me. I feel down alot, and my self esteem is gone. I have to get back to where I was before all of this really kicked in over a year ago.
I work in a very stressful office atmosphere. That brings a lot of stess into my life. I have been told to seek professional advice to talk about this. IF someone out there is going through what I am, let me know. I need to know if anyone is taking the Wellbutrin for anexity attacks and how is it working. I am very self conscious about my weight also..
Thank you   (Mon Dec 26 12:23 2005)

I have been on Wellbutrin XR 150mg for almost 6 weeks now. I am on no other medication and have been on no other medication. I was having severe anxiety attacks, and pretty heavy PMS depression which turned into extended depression that lasted for at least 2 weeks of the month. I was really down on my weight and life in general. I have 3 kids and am a writer and had no self control with my temper and was losing all creativity. I would cry daily.  Literally within the first couple of days I felt the difference. I never had any side effects except maybe some dry mouth, and feeling zoned the first day.  The dry mouth is on and off.  I take it as a sign to drink more water and it works. I have lost some weight, but even better, I don't care as much about it. I am much more focused and patient. I do not dwell or have anxiety attacks. I still feel all appropriate range of emotions, but am not in a fit of depression. I have had NO sexual side effects at all. I highly reccommend this medicine to anyone with similar problems. I have to believe alot of the side effects listed (headache, dizziness, etc.) are from mixing medications or simply the belief that you will experience side effects! I sleep better than I did. I did experience an inability to stay awake past 10:00 pm in the beginning but this went away after a week or two. I sleep great now and feel rested. NO insomnia.  Don't be afraid of Wellbutrin XL. as I was terrified of taking anything. It has been WONDERFUL and a lifesaver! GOOD LUCK!   (Wed Dec 28 13:01 2005)

I have just started taking Cymbalta 30, just increased to 60 mg., to allow me to taper off of Wellbutrin and Neutrontin.  When I go to bed at night I feel like a rubber band that starts to go unstrung.  My muscles just seem to twitch.  My doctor is out of town.  My GP says to cut back on Cymbalta. I never heard of Cymbalta.  I'm afraid taking Cymbalta and Wellbturin to too much.  I'm scared to tell you the truth. My doctor doesn't even have someone to cover for him while he is away and isn't taking messages.  Any helpful advise or experience with these two drugs together??
   (Wed Dec 28 18:07 2005)

I've been taking Wellbutrin and Cymbalta for approximately 3 months now. The up side is that the combination has successfully treated my depression symptoms (better than anything I've ever tried). The down side is that I am no longer able to orgasm (despite the fact that the risk for sexual side effects is reportedly low). And yes, I am very twitchy while sleeping and am waking myself up with strange "yelps."    (Thu Dec 29 0:11 2005)

I've been on Zoloft or Lexapro off and on for the last eight
years. Recently, I was fed-up with the sexual side effects
and the stress on my marriage. Who wants to have sex
when you have no desire for it and can't have an orgasm if
you do? I've been on Wellbutrin XL for about a month,
300mg. I am amazed. It's like my body woke up from a
long slumber and I actually have a great sex drive now
and no problem with orgasm. I really wish I would have
switched a year ago rather then refilling my prescription
for Lexapro. From now on, I will be more proactive when it
comes to my mental (and physical for that matter) health.   (Sun Jan 1 22:23 2006)

I've been taking Wellbutrin for 5 months for depression post a divorce. During the first month and a half I had no side effects and my depression decreased to a point that I was thourghly enjoying life and making good strides. I changed to a generic brand after 2 months. I'm not sure if it had to do with anything but I began having a sense of shortness of breath and a heavy sensation in my chest. I also found that the effectiveness of the drug seem to wane and though I don't feel depressed I seem to tire very easily.

What I wish to figure out is if the generic verses the name brand had any cause and effect or if the drug does have some sort of diminishing return or side effects as I"ve desribed. I'd welcome any comments.    (Wed Jan 4 13:05 2006)

wellbutrin & Cymbalta by puddinhead
I have been on 300mg buproprion for several years now and it has worked great (generic version.  Now I seem to be having more frequent bouts of depression and increasing fatigue with lack of interest.  Did anyone find that adding cymbalta to the wellbutrin helped?  I know that after a period of time your body may become accustomed to what you are on and a switch may be needed.  I am just surprised though since it has been working for so long.  Thanks for any help.   (Thu Jan 5 14:44 2006)

Bryan, it does not sound like a good idea for you to just stop taking your wellbutrin without consulting your doctor.  Given your history you will probably really plumit.  I am a RN and have seen many suicide attempts from people who abruptly stop taking antidepressants.  I don't want that to happen to you.  Running is excellent, but you will probably need to be on some form of antidepressant for the rest of your life, as will I.  As far as Wellbutrin for ADHD, it does help.  I had my son on it for ADHD and it definately made a difference in his ability to concentrate. It is sometimes prescribed just for ADHD as well as depression and anxiety. I wish you the best of luck and urge you to go see your doctor.   (Fri Jan 6 15:41 2006)

wellbutrine xl by jamie up north
Hi everyone, my name is Jamie and I have suffered from depression for the last 5 years of my life. I used to use a lot of different kinds of drugs and alcohol to mask my pain (ex. cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana, and x)For years I was in denile of my depression and thought that the drugs were the source of my saddness. The more disgusted i became with myself, the more I would abuse these things. They gave me an instant gratification but ended with a drawn out crash of depression. It wasn't until I met my boyfriend that I realized what was happening to me. I slowly weaned off from the drugs and the pain really started to set in. I could not leave the house, eat, sleep, and was very suicidal. It effected my school, work, and my personal relationships. I finally got some help from a great therapist and started taking wellbuterine xl for substance induced depression.(I would have been prone to it without the substance abuse, I have mental illness and suicide all over my family) At first the w.b. made me feel like I was on crack and my heart and mind raced. I kind of liked the initial "high" that I was feeling, even though I was scared at the same time about having a heart attack or something. My resting heart beat was 100bpm! This also made me sweat like a pig at work and I found myself humming at times in the day. All aside, it has been 3 months now and I feel like a new person!!!!! I have not had a bad bought of depression ever since starting wb, though there are sometimes that I am weepy for no reason....think it's a woman thing:)My sex dive before was non-exsistant. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had surgery for it but still suffered extreme pain during intercourse afterwards. I think that my depression had manifested itself into actual physical pain! Since starting therapy and taking wb, I have achieved orgasms that I have never had before. The pain is minimal to none and I actually get aroused. It is nice to be the one to initiate sex now!! I have quit doing drugs and alcohol as well as quit smoking which is huge for me. I feel so in control of my life now and am ready to live out my dreams with my now fiancee!!!!! Thank you to whoever made this wonderful drug, it has literally changed  my life!!! I urge anyone to consult with their doctor and try wellbuterine xl for depression, smoking cessation or whatever else ales you!!!!!!    (Mon Jan 9 9:56 2006)
