I took Paxil with Wellbutrin XL for about 6 weeks however the sexual side affects were bad from the Paxil. I have anxiety with depression and before I started on this combo I had chest pain due to the anxiety for years. Took me a long time to figure out what was causing my chest pain and other physical symptoms. It was getting hard to cope and function normally but finally after all the physcical tests including EKG, and all other possibilities were ruled out it was determined anxiety was causing my physical symptoms. I have stopped the paxil due to the side affects and the dr. upped the Wellbutrin XL (extended release) to 300 mg./day which I take in the morning. After about only 5 days with just the Wellbutrin I am feeling great. I would not recommend an SSRI.    (Sun Sep 3 23:53 2006)
